Graduate Student Development Opportunity from COERLL

The Center for Open Educational Resources and Language Learning (COERLL) is offering $500 stipends and professional guidance to graduate students who create lessons that lead language students through a deep reading of an everyday text, such as a blog, a poem or slogan, graffiti or a song.

Students can apply by submitting a project proposal form to info@coerll.utexas.edu by May 31, 2017. The graduate students whose proposals are selected are required to attend a summer workshop at the University of Texas at Austin, lodging and transportation paid, to develop their lessons.

Contact Sarah Sweeney at ssweeney@austin.utexas.edu with questions.
